Concrete Rust Remover to Remove Rust from Stone

Using Concrete Rust Remover to Remove Rust from a Flagstone Patio

We've had a number of customers who have used our Concrete Rust Remover on their stone patios. To show how well it works we decided to demonstrate it on a flagstone patio. For this particular rust stain, the stain was created by an old metal bird feeder. The bird feeder developed a lot of rust on the chain. During rains, the rust stained water caused a stain to develop on the stone. After many years, the stone had a deep orange rust stain.

These photos show what can happen to a stone patio if something is left to rust on or above the patio. After a while the rust will turn the stone a red or orange color. This has traditionally been very difficult to remove.

We let the Concrete Rust Remover sit on the stone for 30 minutes. This stain was there for approximately 5 years. Hosing it off reveals 100% of the stain removed.
